What you will own

You will follow clear procedures, document what you find, and improve the quality of materials that customers and prospects may eventually see. You are not expected to arrive as a software or laboratory expert. You are expected to learn, ask good questions, and show your work.

Demo and website quality checks

  • Work through assigned checklists on approved demo and public pages.
  • Test links, buttons, forms, downloads, and mobile layouts.
  • Record green, yellow, or red results with screenshots and exact reproduction steps.
  • Retest reported issues after they are corrected.

Documentation maintenance

  • Follow written procedures as a first-time user and flag unclear or missing steps.
  • Turn approved notes into first-draft instructions.
  • Refresh screenshots, links, terminology, and revision records.

Prospect and market research

  • Research approved organizations, conferences, and associations using public sources.
  • Record the source, relevant facts, and why an organization may fit CTM.
  • Remove duplicates and unsupported assumptions before handing work off.

Business-record and presentation quality

  • Identify stale, duplicated, or incomplete internal records.
  • Proofread approved guides, proposals, and presentations.
  • Flag confusing claims or sensitive information before material is published.

What good work looks like

  • You finish assigned checklists without being chased.
  • Your findings include evidence another person can reproduce.
  • You distinguish what you observed from what you assume.
  • You handle private information carefully and stay inside assigned systems.
  • You accept feedback, correct mistakes, and improve the process for next time.

Qualifications

  • Clear written communication and careful attention to detail.
  • Comfort using a web browser, documents, spreadsheets, and screenshots.
  • Ability to organize work and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Willingness to ask before acting when instructions or permissions are unclear.
  • No prior technology-industry experience required.

Application process

  1. Written application: tell us about your availability, interests, and approach to detail.
  2. Short work sample: review a fictional quality-check scenario in the application.
  3. Structured interview: selected candidates meet with Petie Clark and Jacob Taylor.
  4. Decision and feedback: we assess every candidate against the same role criteria.

CTM considers applicants based on role-related evidence. Family or personal relationships do not replace the application, interview, or documented expectations.
